Flights
If you're flying in, we recommend Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) over Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). SBA is much closer to Solvang!
Santa Barbara offers nonstop flights from cities like Denver and San Francisco. United Airlines also offers a short connecting flight from LAX to Santa Barbara.
Approximate drive to downtown Solvang:
Santa Barbara (SBA): 40–50 minutes
Los Angeles (LAX): 2 hours and 40 minutes
Shuttles
We've arranged shuttles for all guests to and from Zaca Lake! Shuttles will pick up at the Vinland Hotel & Lounge and Hotel Corque.
SHUTTLE CHECK-IN BEGINS AT 2:00 PM, WITH DEPARTURE AT 2:15 PM.
Don't be late as the shuttles have been instructed to leave no later than 2:15 PM.
All guests must arrive at Zaca Lake on our arranged shuttles. Ubers, personal vehicles, or privately arranged shuttles will not be permitted at the entrance of the venue. Please reach out to Brandon or me if you have any questions!
Hotels
Solvang is a popular destination in September and October. Hotel rates can triple during this busy season, and many properties sell out weeks in advance. We've arranged two hotel room blocks to secure special rates for our guests, but we recommend booking as early as possible!
Room blocks
If you are using our room block, you need to book by August 15th.
Rooms will be released back to the public after this date!
If you're staying at another hotel or Airbnb, please remember that you'll need to make your way to one of our two hotel blocks for wedding-day shuttle pick-up.
